Where can I find a Fernwood Fitness Center?
Fernwood is the largest fitness club of its kind in Australia. It has over 68,000 members in 71 branches across Australia. Fernwood Fitness has branches in Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland, Northern Territory, Western Australia, South Australia and Tasmania. In some cities, you can find more than one Gym. For instance Adelaide has three gyms: Adelaide City gym, Salisbury Gym and St. Agnes Gym.
Fernwood is arguably the biggest women-only gym franchise in Australia. It has succeeded in cornering a niche and offering women what they want – a comfortable space to exercise and strength train without being looked at or judged by men. It is a franchise that understands what being a woman is like and helps members meet and overcome those challenges. For instance, members can use the child are facilities at the gym because it can be hard for women who are mothers to find anyone to take care of their kids while they go to the gym. The atmosphere is relaxed and fun fostering some real connections between members. These connections evolve and create strong communities of women who train together to tackle challenges like running marathons. There are thousands of women who joined hoping to lose weight only to discover that there is so much more than just sweating fat off. These discoveries lead to life long lifestyle changes that are brought on by learning the correct foods to eat, the correct and effective way to exercise and centering the spirit through yoga and meditation. Fernwood is more than just a gym but a sanctuary where women can truly work on themselves and their bodies in a more holistic way.
